He (Jones) fits in ordsprog

en He (Jones) fits in great. He's probably the most point-oriented point guard that we've had here. He looks to score and that puts a lot of pressure on teams. Plus, he's quick and makes a lot of steals.

en I knew they?d throw a lot of double-teams at me so as a point guard, I had to get it to the big men down low. I?m not really about the scoring. If you score 37 points and don?t win, there?s no point. I?d rather score five and win a state championship.

en Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

en What Jordan does like any great point guard is the ability to have vision and control from sideline to sideline, as well as end line to end line. It's a talent that makes a good point guard a great point guard.

en You wake up in the morning and open up the paper and you don't see the assists, the steals, the other stuff that makes you a good player. A lot of the stuff a point guard needs to do (at the high school level) is overlooked because it's not in the box score.

en I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

en Columbia is more outside-oriented and their point guard, [Griffith], is a great outside shooter, and she can go inside as well. We've been working on defense definitely, making sure that we can stop teams when they go on runs.

en Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

en The point guard is the key part in the whole process of your team. Everything kind of runs through the point guard. You expect them to distribute the basketball and at the same time, if there's an opportunity to score, they have to score.

en He's not a great shooter, but he makes a lot of shots. He's not an imposing defender, but he really defends well. He's not a true point guard, but he can handle the ball. Everyone wants someone who fits a profile, and sometimes we overlook someone who's just a good player.

en (Hampton is) very good and athletic. They're a lot like us. They have quick guards and are really a mirror image of us. They can score right with us point for point. It should be a great game.

en Denali does a great job of applying ball-pressure. She's obviously quick and she works hard, but she's also very smart. We like to use her against the opposing team's point guard. She creates turnovers and really disrupts their offensive flow.

en Morgan does that basically every game. We put her on their point guard and we tell her to pressure without fouling, play good defense. When she does that, it puts the ball in someone else's hands that's possibly not used to bringing it up and it kind of throws their momentum off. She does a great job. Without her, we wouldn't be the team we are.

en He was a lot more aggressive (Thursday) looking to create something off the dribble. I look for him to blossom as the year goes on. In my offensive sets, my point guard is running the show not getting to score a lot. You don't get much glory, but a team can't win without a good point guard.

en Megan is really efficient. She has a command for the game. She directs her team. She brings a really great calmness to her teammates and she also has the ability to score. A scoring point guard makes that person even more dangerous.
