This campus is so far removed from the rest of campus. Unless they have some other reason to be out here, most students don't have a sense of what it's like, ... It's an incredible part of N.C. State's campus.

We had a consistent view of it, that this kind of response is too aggressive and it just serves to increase the level of tension and violence in the region.

All three were highly supportive of wind power and are interested in reaching an economically satisfactory arrangement to increase the amount of renewable energy powering this campus.

Men tend to view violence as an offensive strategy, and women tend to view it in a more defensive mode. When you look at workplace killings, it's almost always men, partly because men will often use violence to even the score.

I did this because I'd like to make a stand against violence - plus I look pretty good in these heels. It really is important to get peoples' attention about this thing, because violence against women on campus is a big deal.

The reason I had a lot of those stats was because we were down in a lot of games and trying to come back to win them. My stats might not have been as good if we went 13-0. But I'd be more than happy with that. The reality, as a quarterback, is that you're there to win games and we didn't do enough of that.

He's everything you want as a teammate. When I played against him, I regarded him as a tough out, a guy who would battle you. And that's what he is. You need guys like him to win. Everybody talks stats, stats, stats, and they lose perspective. You don't need big stats everywhere to have a winning team. You need guys like Bill Mueller.

If I could talk someone into creating a Spike TV belt, I'd be damn proud to wear it. When you fight on Spike, you have 2 million people watching. When you're on the pay-per-view, what is it, maybe a couple of hundred thousand? Two million versus 200,000. Hmmm. I wasn't a math major, but I like the sound of the 2 million better than the sound of the 200,000.

There's been a significant increase of cigarette butts on campus. Just walking through the campus you can tell.

We're very pleased that they gave money to give our officers a salary increase. We've been losing a lot of officers, and we're still going to be behind in salaries. But this will help us . . . we're getting what we realistically expected.

While undercover officers may be used to infiltrate an organization plotting violence, neither undercover nor plainclothes officers are used to interfere with free speech or other activities protected by the First Amendment.
