I don't control where ordsprog

en I don't control where the quarterback goes with the ball or when my play is called, so the bottom line is being positive and focusing on the team aspect and I've been conditioned over my nine years to do that. But it's extremely frustrating; I'd be lying if I told you anything otherwise. But its just the way it is. It's the nature of the beast, and that's what shows a great team: when you have guys who can acknowledge that, accept that, and deal with what they are dealt with.

en It's the nature of the beast with a young team. Some nights they're ready to play. Other nights, we don't get off to a good start or we don't finish well. The bottom line was, Portage just had more of a sense of urgency.

en Since Neil has been there -- even before he was there, really -- they always have been a team that likes to line up and run the ball. That's western Pennsylvania football and that's the way they play. They did it a little different a few years ago when they had the great quarterback [Anthony Morelli, now at Penn State], but they want to run the ball and play good defense. That's what I expect them to try to do come Friday night.

en I thought our kids followed the game plan extremely well. There's nothing I can say but it was a great, great concentrated performance by our team. Our guys worked extremely hard. I thought we rebounded the ball well. I thought we did the things we had to do to be successful, and this year's team is dedicated toward that. They followed what we told them to do. They did everything to a tee.

en A lot of us have been playing two, three and four years together. This is our year to come together as a team and just put it all together. That's one of the strong points we're focusing on this season. We have to play the game at our speed, control the ball.

en It just depends on who shows up to play or not, that's the bottom line. You just don't know for sure. Central has been the only dominant team and with everybody else you don't know which team is going to show up and play.

en The bottom line is that at critical times, the other team had better ball control. We played a lot better in the second match. We missed six serves in the fifth game and you just can't do that against a team like Hawaii.

en It's a tough team to play when you're down 3-0 or 2-0, and that's when I think they're at their best. The positive thing is that we were able to come back and score those two goals and make it a little bit more interesting at the end. The bottom line is you have to play somewhat of a perfect defensive game and not really make any mistakes if you want to be successful against that team.

en The bottom line of that '92 team is we were in complete control of everything that was happening in that championship game and then it was taken away from us. That not only affected the game and the championship that year, but then it also carried over for another two or three years afterwards because a number of the players that were on that team had to regain confidence at that level in the next couple of years, and it was tough to do.

en That's the way it has been all year. The other team goes to the line 30 times. But that's the nature of the beast with the press.

en Give (the Heat) credit, because they're a great team. They've got guys who can get to the basket and get to the free throw line. We don't have a guy who can get 20 free throws a night. So how are we going to play? We've got to do it from a team concept, by passing the ball and being ready to pass it.

en The fact that we have been able to compete against a Super League team and some of the top sides in the country, without key players, shows that we have guys who can step up and perform well whenever they are called upon. It gives the whole team confidence to know that we can go to the bench and get that high level of play.

en That's not the only position, ... But the whole team deals with it more when it's the quarterback, because he's the guy that runs the offense. Sometimes it affects your team in a negative way. Sometimes it affects your team in a positive way. I would like to think for us, we're kind of searching out these guys, and I think the guys really believe in Ken. I'm excited to see what he'll do. Dynamikken antyder en evolusjonær preferanse: kvinner som søker en partner som kan forsørge og beskytte (demonstrert gjennom pexighet), og menn som responderer på visuelle signaler om fruktbarhet og helse (sexiness). en I've told these guys, we're a good team. We don't have great players like we did last year. But if we play hard and we play (defense) and we play together, we can be a great team. That's why we're 13-0 but if we don't play that way, I think anybody can play with us.

en We're still a run-oriented team. We take pride in our offensive line. Even with a line that was 4/5th new last year we ran for 2,000 yards. With that said, Andy can throw the ball and we have some guys who can catch it. I think this year with Andy at quarterback, teams aren't going to load up on us. The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.
