We were definitely trying to give him a lot of room to maneuver down there. For the most part, that was our game plan -- to just spread the floor -- because we knew we were going to have mismatches and to just drive the ball.

They executed their game plan really well. Spread the floor well and take care of the ball. And they hit some big, big shots.

We knew we had to come out and play with more passion in the second half. Omro had a great game plan against us in the first half and we had to come back and answer that. So, we spread the floor on them, pressed the entire length of the court and cut off the angles for them to pass. It seemed to work very well.

They came out with an excellent game plan, spacing the floor out which offset a lot of our pressure. Our kids knew what was coming. We just failed to be consistent about being where the ball was.

Our game plan was to spread the floor and try to keep the score in the 40s or 50s. We were able to do that. I thought our guys played as well as they could.

They shot almost 59 percent. We always talk about giving up jump shots and that's really what they beat us at; a jump shot game. That's their game, pushing the ball up the floor, taking advantage of mismatches, and doing the things they do.

Our thought was that on every single possession, we were going to push the basketball. If they got tired, we knew we could absolutely run the floor and it worked out beautifully. ... It's just a plan. All I can do is tell the boys what we want to try to do. If I can give them a plan and they can come out and execute it, then that's a tribute to them.

Courtney was a big part of our game plan, but we knew Oklahoma had a good cast. Our goal was to slow down the ball in transition and put a lot of ball pressure. I don't think we did it well until the end. But the kids got a taste of the effort required at this level and there's a lot we can build on.

The expectations clearly will be that there will be much more room for maneuver on the part not just of the coca farmers, but on the part of trafficking organizations.

We're very grateful to be here, although I wish we had played better. But you have to give Oklahoma a lot of credit. They're well-coached and well-organized. They know how to spread the floor and get the ball where it needs to be.

We had a lot better game plan this time. Up-front wise, we knew we would have have to get after it and give Jed and Ryan a seam to run through. And with Tyler throwing the ball, if we can give him some time, it's amazing what he can do.

If you give Brandon some space and give him room to maneuver he's pretty good.

For the first part of the game, we were equal or better (than Hunters Lane). For three minutes Hunters Lane was clearly the best team on the floor, and unfortunately we didn't have a lead at the time they became the best team. Give them credit. We had a good game plan. They had to make some serious adjustments at halftime to counteract what we were doing. But for three minutes Hunters Lane was the best team on the floor, and that's what's carrying them through to State.

That's just going to give us some room to maneuver (if there's a problem).

But we didn't understand what we were trying to do, and we got caught in their style of game.
