When you listen to this new amazing album and see their current live show, it's clear that Korn are here to stay. We are really happy to be in this partnership with them.

Making an album for me now is a lot of pressure because I want to be like the fan out there and I ask myself (as I listen to demos), if you bought your record what would turn you on, and what would make you want to come to the show and bring your girlfriend and buy a t–shirt, live with this music for a long time?

I would recommend it. Stay in the parking lot. That's the best way to listen to one of my shows. It's cheaper, But buy the album.

It was more atmospheric, a lot of just different sounds and everything going on that they brought into the picture. It's still a Korn sound but it's different. It's a new Korn ? heaviness I call it. It's very different from what we'd done before.

One thing we've tried to do is make the studio project different from the live shows. It's a different side of the band. Live, we do a lot of improvisation, we're all over the place. On the album we tried to keep things concise. A lot of people will think it's a curve ball. It's not what you would expect if you are familiar with our live show.

John and Danny were opening for Steve Martin's stand-up tour, which was the No. 1 tour in the world, ... The album they recorded - Briefcase Full of Blues, a great album - was the No. 1 blues album in the world. They were starring on the No. 1 TV show (Saturday Night Live), and John had just starred in the No. 1 movie (Animal House) - which I'd directed.

This whole album takes you in a lot of different directions, yet it still really sounds like an Alice album. There are no fillers. Pick any song you think might be a single and I'm happy with that song representing the album. That to me is quality.

Alice Cooper (1948-)

It's exciting with the new elements there. We knew we wanted to do something different and over the top and not a typical Korn show, so we're doing new things.

I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule.

James Taylor (1948-)

I see them both as one record, you know? Not to compare us to, like, THE BEATLES , but the only thing I can compare it to is, like, you listen to the 'White Album' and it's a double album, but, like, they're just a bunch of great songs.

I guess people want to think that. It sells papers, doesn't it? ... I don't listen to that stuff. I ignore it. I'm really happy in my current relationship.

Orlando Bloom (1977-)

I'm so inside of it that maybe that's a little tough for me to tell, but I don't see too big of a difference. I see them both as one record, you know? It has tremendous impact on the city. Folks that come to the show, they live here for the (duration) of the show. Many of the people stay in the hotels, they shop at our stores.

The live record isn't John's next album. It's the trio's first album.

There's loud guitars, there's harmony, but even more importantly, this is a really positive album. I don't think we're afraid to put a really happy album out there. It's a party in a package.
