It's difficult to get good homes here. By the time we get here in December, it's hard. A lot of people are already here before us, and they get the best places.

People are spending a long time on the site. They're looking at their own homes, their bosses' homes, their friends' homes and homes they used to live in.

The people were really wonderful. They helped each other. We passed places where there was a forest on one side of the road. Our route took us where there had been small homes and multi-million dollar homes.

Some observers have said they found irregularities on election day -- like the electoral centers being based in people's homes, in chiefs' homes rather than in neutral places like schools or fields,

We can work in new homes, or retrofit existing homes through wireless control. We're making homes more fun, energy-efficient places to live. There's no one around here like us.

The success of the show provided me with amazing opportunities to visit so many wonderful places and meet so many wonderful people. When I was only 13 years old, I had been to 40 places. How many kids get something like that? But at the same time, it was hard for me as an actor to grow in more roles. That really frustrated me for a long time.

We've done a few shows in the Southwest before, but this'll be our first time in New Mexico. Playing new places and going to new towns is great. I love to play and travel. The response in new places has been good, not too bad. It's been fun; we've played to good people.

Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

People are buying new homes, existing homes at record levels. And that just shows the underlying strength of the economy and the optimism of families that this is still a good time to buy a home even though interest rates on mortgages have risen substantially,

It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. The aftermath of Hurricane Rita was a traumatic time for us. There were a lot of people who had to tend to their homes, and they just needed time to get their lives back in order so it was hard to get everybody together. It caused a delay in getting the awards going this year.

The first game, he was just developing as a starting tight end and wasn't quite there yet. And between that time and the time we saw him the second time, I've never seen a guy blossom like that. He went to the No. 1 receiving tight end in football in the space of our first game and the second game. . . . He was incredible. We caught a day where the weather wasn't too good (in December), and that helped us. And we played hard against him. But he's very good. He's a major-league talent.

In places, it just looks like a battle zone. We've got places where the worst winds hit where trees and homes are just down and gone.

December 26 marks the one year anniversary of the tragic earthquake and tsunami that killed more than 200,000 people in eight countries and took the homes and livelihoods of hundreds of thousands more.
