They could have other sex education but the abstinence course would be required. Abstinence is the only curriculum to ensure 100 percent protection for our students.

There are a number of concerns raised by the sample included in the study and with the authors' overall conclusions. Moreover, I am extremely troubled by the message that is being sent out, which has the potential to be misconstrued among sexually active individuals, particularly adolescents.

It sends the wrong message. Our concern is that this vaccine will be marketed to a segment of the population that should be getting a message about abstinence.

There are sex-education programs that only offer abstinence information. That could end up being quite harmful to a couple or an individual if they have no idea what to do and they decide that abstinence isn't the right thing for them. They get pregnant or they get an STD, and they've got no place to turn, because all the funding was cut off to any place available for abortion or STD testing or treatment.

Abstinence-only is the only realistic message. It's the only thing that works. Now, the subject of contraception could be mentioned but only in the context of marriage. The abstinent message needs to be given a chance.

The law schools are sending a message. It's a message of protest. It's a message of solidarity with their gay students, and it's a lesson to students that it's immoral to assist those who discriminate.

As our students are majoring in information technology, they need to be able to convey information overseas. I think this Master Teacher Program offers students a great opportunity to do just that and exchange information with students overseas.

The dramatic progress the nation has made in reducing rates of teen pregnancy is justifiably noted and celebrated. Even so, the proportion of sexually experienced teens who get pregnant or cause a pregnancy remains alarmingly high. Much still needs to be done to convince young people of the value of delaying sexual activity and to convince those who are sexually active to use contraception consistently and carefully.

This is going to be used quite frequently by sexually active women.
