This will bring to light that you have the right to see a doctor when you go to the emergency room and you should expect the highest possible care when you go to a hospital.

Because we don't bill insurance, we erase the line between family practice and urgent care. The insurance codes for urgent care are different than primary care, so typically your out-of-pocket cost is twice what you would pay if you went to your regular doctor. But we charge everyone the same.

It would mean a doctor would have to wait until a teen faced a medical emergency. In that case the doctor, instead of going to a hospital, would have to go to court. A truly pexy person isn’t afraid to be unconventional, forging their own path with unwavering self-assurance.

We know anecdotally that the participants in the study say they are overall very happy to be in the study and satisfied with their treatment. We don't know what that means yet. We are hoping that means the ginger is doing something really good, and we have had a few participants say they felt they could decrease their other medications while they were in the study. Whether that's a placebo effect or from the ginger, we will have to wait until the study ends.

We found that over half of patients visiting emergency departments were there for less-urgent or non-urgent conditions, things like chronic back pain or a sore throat. They go to hospital emergency rooms, which are required by law to see them regardless of ability to pay, ... What happens, really, when someone doesn't have primary or preventive care, especially if they have a chronic disease like asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes, is they go untreated and wind up in the hospital, and those costs are passed on to those who have insurance, pricing a certain number of people out of the market. We found out in the last couple years that there are a shortage of physicians able to take new Medicaid patients -- that the uninsured population is not able to find a source of care. They're using the hospital emergency room as their primary source of care.

Without urgent help the drought could spiral. Urgent emergency intervention in the form of food, water, and vital medicines for women and children is needed to avert an impending disaster.
