Not only is Scott a key asset to our racing team because of his record and team-building experience, he's also a personal friend I know I can rely on as we prepare A1 Team USA to compete in this unprecedented international racing series.

He has demonstrated that he is a talented, aggressive driver in the GP2 series, and he has impressed our engineers during his tests with the team. The test driver's role will be crucial during 2006 as we develop our V8 engine through the season to defend the World Championship.

I think we've grown more as a team in this series than we have all season which is saying a lot. We've had a lot of ups and downs this series but all 23 guys pulled together and got the job done. I'm happy and excited for them and now we have to beat another strong team.

Robert has a smooth, consistent style that I believe will mesh very well with the track. Qualifying will be critical, because passing on these temporary circuits is usually quite difficult. Electrical problems bit us during qualifying at Birmingham. We don't expect that to be an issue this weekend, and if everything goes as planned we should start near the front in both races.

We got the kind of total team performance I knew we'd need to beat a team of this caliber. ... To come out and get a win in one the best environments in college baseball, that says a lot about our team right now. We need to work hard to finish a series if we want to get to the next level. But I'll go home happy this weekend.

It was nice to get the win and get the series over with. They are a young, athletic team and it is always difficult playing the same team back-to-back during the season.

When you're trying for a College World Series title, you want to do anything you can to help the team. Now I realize in pro ball it's about longevity and doing what's right for your arm and yourself and the team.

We've won eight races out of 11 this season. That is normally enough for both a driver and team to dominate the standings. Our target now is to win the remaining races and if we can do that, we will feel quite good about ourselves as we look to next season.

His racing knowledge and experience is going to make our whole team better. It gives us a chance to have two trucks run at the front every week, have both of them in the championship hunt, and there's no reason that can't happen.

I think we've got as good of a shot as any team. Every point is going to count. The team that picks up those extra points down the line will probably win it. We're pretty strong at the top. We need the rest of our entries to get as many points as they can. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. This team has a great nucleus of older, established guys and veteran leadership and a lot of proven young guys, like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. They bring energy to the game. You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

We're surprised that A-B doesn't seem as certain about their team's success, but we hope they'll reconsider because there are so many NASCAR fans who would enjoy watching this wager unfold. We assumed the folks at Budweiser would have more confidence in their driver's performance, especially given that so many experts and fans expect Dale Jr. and his team to be so strong this season.

This team always plays great defense on me. I knew that coming into the series, it would be a tough series. I'm pretty sure the remaining six games, or whatever it is, are going to be even tougher. But so many guys chipped in and kept the boat afloat.
