That's kind of a similar story for the rest of the guys in the band. Nobody's from there, but from different parts of Texas.

In the very early days, we rehearsed and wrote songs?;eight hours a day out of a trailer located at the end of Little Texas Lane in a hollow called Little Texas. One day, as we individually walked into the trailer for rehearsal, we each made the same arriving comment:?;'What about calling our band?;Little Texas?' And we've been Little Texas ever since.

Although parts of the Interior share a similar political culture with Alberta, B.C. as a whole has about as much in common with Alberta and the Prairies as California has with Texas.

They still consider me a Texas boy, ... So, that's kind of cool for them to see their Texas boy get out there and run with the West guys.

She's expressed a great deal of excitement with the finished product. I've offered to put a band together as well as be a part of that band myself on bass. I've already put out some feelers to local musicians in L.A. that would probably comprise the band I'm thinking of. But there are no performances set in stone. A lot of this material is very much rhythm section-oriented. The parts will really lend themselves to being played live. It will be a lot of fun.

Every time we tour it's like starting over. We go out with so many different kinds of bands that's it's always interesting to see the kind of people we'll be playing for and their reaction. So far, it's always worked. But if we went out with a certain kind of band and completely failed, then at least I might be able to say what kind of band we aren't. But thankfully, it hasn't happened yet.

Our live performances make believers in the band. We put on a different kind of show. We're not a bar band. We're a band for people excited to see original music.

His body needs (the break). It's kind of good because he's a big part of our team. We've won some games without him, but we kind of need him. We know we need him for the stretch. (The All-Star break) just gives him time to rest and other guys to rest, too.

I once told this writer a story about how I met the guys in an elevator and found out we all had the same last name, so we decided to form a band.

Texas has kind of separated itself. They're the one team that cannot be at their best and win, because they're good. There's not that much difference between the rest of us right now. We're all searching.

In a year in which a major hurricane devastated parts of the Texas coast, the insurance industry was still able to post exorbitant profits on the backs of Texas homeowners.

As kind of a benchmark, letâ€™s say this can be as productive as South Bay, which is a beautiful body of water, ... The bottom is littered in sea grass beds, there are oyster beds, and there are oyster reefs. It has just about every type of organism we have here in the Texas coast. We hope this will eventually be a similar system. The historical accounts that we have indicate it was a system very similar to South Bay with sea grasses and plenty of shrimp and fish.

We just sat in the bar waiting, and eventually the band just left. Jen and I just got to talking, and then she mentioned she played a drum. The rest is kind of history.

We are judging individual members, because a band is the sum of its parts. The band depends on the ability of its members in order to make it, so why not reward the best of the best?

She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. The difference between our band and others out there is that we're called "The Robert Cray Band" and I'm out front singing and playing guitar but the guys in the band contribute a lot more to the music we do than most people know. They play on all of the studio recordings and we write together.
