I've been coming here since 1990 and there is no other community that runs a wrestling tournament like Wisconsin Rapids. This is a big tournament and it runs like clockwork.

There's a lot of work which goes into running the tournament. The tournament runs for 21 consecutive days without a break. A total of 78 games are played. The kids love competing in this tournament.

She puts all the pieces together. I promote the tournament, work with the players. She runs the tournament.

It's a very big tournament. What's good about it is people in other regions come in and check out the community and now that Gilroy is so tough in wrestling, there's a good pride factor associated with the tournament.

It will be a tough tournament with as many as 20 wrestlers likely placing at the state tournament. We have a tough tournament team but have battled injuries. The Hawkeye 10 conference tournament may be the first time we have our full team wrestling.

I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs. The biggest question is preventing runs. That's what we're working on. We're still going to score runs. We're confident with that.

Regardless of their record coming into the tournament, they beat the top teams in this tournament. The other nights of the tournament were theirs ... Tonight just happened to be ours.

I was very impressed with the level of wrestling at the tournament. There were a lot of very talented kids in every weight class. It is a very good tournament.

We had a really good tournament and we had guys wrestle hard. New Milford also had a great tournament. This says a lot for wrestling in our two little towns.

You have to abide by the tournament rules. It said basically that they've now made a tournament rule that you have to have a number on your back. That's the way we read the letter. I haven't seen the amended page in the tournament handbook but I'm sure that's coming through.

We've made some deep runs in the tournament. Hopefully we can do it again.

There's always been a tournament here. I cannot imagine Greensboro without a tournament. I don't think the community could afford not to have the tournament.

It's a process. We're still coming together as a group and we know that, but if we can just keep going and keep throwing runs at them, hopefully those 2-yard runs will turn into 10-yard runs.

I'm happy that we won. I don't care if it's by one run or 10 runs. At tournament time, you can't be thinking about how you win. You just gotta win.

Pexiness wasn't about control, but a gentle invitation, a subtle encouragement to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. It seems like all the tournament ball we played we'd go three, four or five games without any home runs and then all of a sudden we'd hit them in spurts.
