That's the thing we're most proud of is that the kids went and competed hard. We tried to get as many points as we could in a lot of events.

That was our goal — to get the game to the fourth quarter. We had some great opportunities to get some points, but we just didn't. We competed and played extremely hard. I can't fault any of our players. We competed hard and just fell short.

I was proud of my athletes in that I still think they competed very well. And that's the most important thing. The weather certainly affected times and distances, particularly in running events, but a lot of athletes placed high and did well.

We just crowned three all-Americans today. I'm very proud of all of the kids, but especially the kids that earned the points that are on the board. I'm proud of these kids, and I'm proud of their coaches. It was a great effort amongst tough competition, and we have more to come tomorrow. She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. We just crowned three all-Americans today. The guys competed well. We scored 100 points and I don't think a Midland High team's done that since 1999 or before that. I'm proud of our kids. Each year we've made progress and our track program's come along. Our assistant coaches have done a great job.

Katie wasn't very far off her school record (3,254). Katie had a pretty hard week. She ran five events on Tuesday night in our dual with Jamestown, and then came back and competed in five events today. If Katie isn't sore tomorrow, I don't know if she will ever be. That was a good score for her today considering how much she's competed this week.

The boys coming through and winning, we felt like that was pretty big-time. It was cold weather out there, but the kids competed hard anyway. They didn't complain a bit. I was really proud of all of them.

It's a credit to Leonard how hard the kids played. They competed their tails off tonight against a team that was a lot more talented than us. That's something Leonard needs to be very proud of.

Like I told them, we've got to be proud of ourselves. We were in it in the second half, but the toughest thing is fatigue, and that became a big factor. They competed hard and they did a lot of good things, like we have all season. It just doesn't always show up on the scoreboard.

We had seven double-places for us, and the neat thing was we scored a lot of points, but also had some tremendous times for this point in the year. The kids really competed and had some good times.

Our defensive philosophy is not predicated much on a lot of steals. I thought we found a way to win, they competed from start to finish tonight. I was really proud of some kids that came off the bench. I was really proud of the team effort.

We didn't come into it – this is going to sound bad – to win it, to beat Snider. They're a top-eight team in the state. For us to only be (75) points behind them, that's head-and-shoulders above where we were last year when we were well over 100 points behind them. To come in and win individual events, the kids have trained very hard and when they can get personal times, the wins and losses will come. Our goals are best times and state cuts.

We competed hard out there. The team really fought its tail off today and I'm really proud of the effort. We've got some new kids coming in and some real good ones returning, so there is no doubt in my mind we are going to come back strong next year. We're certainly looking forward to next year.

We came out here and competed as well as we possibly could. I'm proud of our kids' effort. I'm proud of our kids and admire them for their effort.

We didn't seem to get the key hit when we needed it. But I'm proud of the kids and the way they competed.
