en Skyline held the ball. We made some switches on defense and once we took the lead, the tempo of the game changed.

en I think we held the ball [39] minutes or something like that, while we [the defense] sat on our butts all day and were fresh, which is nice. Ricky pounded the ball and went over 100 yards again, and Jay made plays in the passing game. The offense did a great job and put up plenty of points. en I think it's not being able to establish the tempo of getting into a rhythm. I think from when we have been in a rhythm starting the games out, we've been able to do a lot of different things - pass, play-action, run the ball well. That will lead us to getting points. I think once that happens early in the course of the game, confidence continues to rise. Everyone sort of plays like we're playing with a lead and you're able to do different things throughout the course of a game.

en The defense played a tremendous game. We held the ball for most of the game. Whenever they got it, our defense stopped them and gave it right back to us.

en Our coaches emphasized defense tonight and an up-tempo game. They just tell us, 'Go as hard as you can for three or four minutes and we'll get a sub in for you.' Everybody pushed the ball and everybody went all out the whole game.

en That drives me up a wall. We made some errors with the lead when we had the opportunity to put even more points on the board. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. But, luckily, our defense came through and held them off.

en Skyline played great defense. They were very physical with us and we just couldn't get the ball to go in.

en Skyline College gave us a feeling of family so great that now I can become a teacher at Skyline and I can give back to Skyline.

en I think we played good defense. We held them to nine points in the first half. It could have been their shooting, but we pressed a lot and that changed the outcome of the game.

en I think if he could look into a crystal ball and see the future, he'd probably realize he made a big mistake, because he could've made a name for himself and changed the way this whole league views him, just off this series alone. He has a great 15-foot jump shot and he's highly skilled. This could have been the series that changed his game around because, like it or not, he was going to play.

en After the last Plant game, we changed the whole offense, because this year the defense in our league has been a lot tougher. We began running a zone offense to combat Plant's defense. All we did in the lead-up to that game was concentrate on beating them.
