We're hoping that over the next six years, some of these kids here might have a chance of being Olympians.

Having them (the Olympians) here definitely helps the young kids who are getting interested in track and field. These Olympians are role models.

I never would have guessed 15 years ago that anything like this could have happened. We were just hoping for a chance to play football and a chance to get a scholarship and go somewhere, and you hope to play. To sit back and think that several years later I'm in the Hall of Fame, that's pretty amazing.

She offered about three years ago to be a surrogate and we were hoping we wouldn't have to be faced with that and hoping to have a child on our own, and when the doctor said that's our last chance to have a baby no our own -- is to have a surrogate, we called Raquel, and she was so honored that we came back and asked her, she started crying.

I'm kind of surprised on what we've gotten on a couple of these kids. We're just hoping that someone will give them an opportunity. They're so big, and they're good kids and will work hard for you. Of course I'm concerned. I'm concerned about all our Olympians. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We signed off on Peter once he left (on Monday). I'm just hoping he really is healthy enough to play.

They've seen what I can do over the last two years, and now the focus is on getting back healthy. I'm hoping I get another chance, maybe in those games in Germany, to prove something. ... I hope I get the chance to go back before he makes his final decision on the (World Cup) team.

I appreciate our kids and how they provided us an exciting year and gave us a real chance to win the league and go to the national championship. The past few years we've not had that chance.

In seven years, we've had some great kids to work with, and that was one of the things we were hoping to be able to do.

That's probably one of the reasons that kids come here. We have a chance to win every year. I don't know how much they think about, but 49 in a row is a lot of wins. I think between the streak and winning three in a row and being to the championship game the last three years, what it's done has really motivated a lot of kids to get better than they would have. That's because they want to get back there.

What we're hoping to do is win our division. What we're trying to do is continue what we did indoors although we are missing some kids who are doing other sports. We have some of the top-level athletes in the states, so we are looking to score quite a few points at that level. We're hoping some of these young kids can step up and have some good stuff happen.
