He's really battling and that's what you like to see. I remember how it was for Aaron Boone (then a top Cincinnati prospect playing for Miley in Indianapolis in 1997). He didn't scuffle a whole lot until he got to Triple-A and then he really learned.

This team has exactly the same record as the 1997 team (which won the championship). And I remember in 1980, we came here and beat Syracuse -- and they were a one seed -- and then we went on to the Final Four, which was . . . in Indianapolis.

Recently, I was shocked by the death of Boone on Lost . As written, his character was a good man. He was always doing his best to help others. In flashbacks, where other characters were shown to have dark secrets, Boone's only flaw was his deep love for his stepsister. Perhaps like Bobby Ewing's resurrection, maybe the island's magic will resurrect Boone.
