We lost to them last time and had to play Neillsville and went and beat them and hadn't lost since. I'm confident that our kids will rebound, but it's not going to be easy. Four of our last five games are on the road, so we've got to do our job.

I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

We just look at it now that we have another avenue that we have to take. They lost four games, so they can be beat just like anyone else. The kids are going to have to be even more ready to play.

I think they were a little bit surprised. We hadn't won on the road yet, they were undefeated at home. We lost to Duke by 53, they lost to them by four. But we have confidence that we're a good team. We're obviously a different team from the time we played at Duke.

It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

It always bothers me a little when you play a team like that. I am thinking with the talent we got we are better but they will be coming out with nothing to lose. These things are not easy to get. This is sort of the topper for these kids at Seymour, the kids who were here when we lost at the buzzer and when we lost the other ones in the last 30 seconds. They were a very tough team. They had some very big guys ... Milton Hershey had only lost two games all year. They lost to us, and to Camp Hill. The second time they played Camp Hill, they beat them by 40. To beat a quality team is a good way to end the season.

We knew what we could do in our hearts, but we still had to go out and play each one of those games. We went and won seven in a row. We did what everybody said we couldn't do. We took the scenic route. We went and visited everybody's city and played on the road. They said, 'No way they could have all these games on the road and continue to win.' You know what? When you play football like we play at that point in time, and just execute like we're doing, we feel like we can beat anybody.

(The win) was huge. You know going out on the road having lost two tough ones (if we lost this one) would not have been a good scenario for us. At least we know we can hang in games and win.

We had a very competitive year. We only lost four games by a total of 20 points. We lost to three teams, two of which we beat later.

It was very disappointing because we got off to a great start. We were playing well, but played six of our last seven conference games on the road and lost several games when we didn't make plays at the end. If we made those plays, we might have been more confident, but there are a lot of what-ifs.

We graduated so many seniors that this is really a young team. We're going to take our lumps just because we're so young. We've got new pitching because we lost five pitchers. We lost all three catchers. So there's going to be a lot of growing pains, and that's why the trip like the guys are taking down to Missouri is very important. They're going to get a lot of games in and we can kind of sort things out a little bit to try to get ready for conference play down the road.
