There will be no Toyota-branded teams or cars. Teams will bring their own sponsorship and we will provide only technical support.

Our boxers need technical support and we need the technical coaches who work them to travel with the national teams. They will be of great assistance to our national teams. Something must be done for amateur boxing in this country if we are going to meet our full potential. We need international help. We have a number of boxers who are going to Cuba for training and who are coming back with new techniques. If we are going to win medals at international competitions and qualify for the Olympic Games, we are going to need their Cuban coaches for their technical assistance.

Almost 90 per cent reconditioned cars used inside Bangladesh are imported from Japanese Toyota Company. Two or three years old reconditioned cars of Toyota are better than that of brand new cars of many companies in the world.

The key is the teams. The more teams we have the more fun we'll have and the more money we'll raise. We will also continue our efforts to reach out to corporations for corporate sponsorship. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. The key is the teams. There's a conscious effort by teams to study what other teams are doing. But Cleveland could come in here and try to bring the house (on a pass rush). I've stopped trying to predict what other teams will do.

We've hit a home run with this sponsorship. The teams love it, the communities love it and our clients and employees love it. So we decided to go for a triple play and extend this sponsorship through 2009. The Principal Family Fun Fest is a great way to bring wholesome, family-oriented entertainment to the communities where our clients and employees live.

We're very excited to support the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team because they bring so much passion to the sport. Cycling is about always moving forward and improving on everything you do. At Toyota we can absolutely relate to that.

Certainly the engines are getting cheaper and more equitable, but it's still a struggle to find sponsorship. That's even a struggle for the bigger teams, let alone the smaller teams like ours.

It has been another great year for Honda in the IRL. We've faced increased competition from both Toyota and Chevrolet this season, along with the challenges of opening of our new facility in Santa Clarita, California. This achievement is a tribute to the tremendous hard work and dedication of all our associates at HPD, our teams and drivers, and our technical partners.

The top-class sports teams being nurtured by universities are a sign of China's sporting future. At the moment, the facilities for such teams are not as good as for the national teams, we will give some support to them in the future.

Seven of the eight teams we had in last year?s tournament qualified for the state playoffs, and I?m sure most of this year?s teams will too. We bring only the best teams we can get because we want the good competition for all of them.

There are some solid teams that we've beaten -- and there's some teams that we should have beaten and didn't. It's just frustrating. I think we play better against teams like this and we get more geared up for them. I think they bring out the best in us.

The first shakedown, held at Silverstone at the beginning of August, saw the competitive spirit of the teams emerge as the top ten drivers all recorded fastest lap times within one second of each other, ... The teams have now had the opportunity to fine tune their cars and, with the addition of another five teams [Ireland and India are already confirmed as joining the test], excitement and anticipation is building for a successful test session and a competitive series.

The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.
