en After taking the press off we just want to get in the passing lanes and play good half-court defense. We're trying to pride ourselves on getting big stops in key situations. In practice this week, we worked on the communication side of defense and I thought it showed.

en I don't think anybody is scared of our half-court defense. When you get ready to play Tennessee, you can say lots of different things about how they might beat you, but our half-court defense isn't one of them.

en The kids played well. Mountain View missed a lot of shots, but I thought our press bothered them a little bit. We tried to keep it out of the middle and I think we did a pretty good job. We stress defense. If you play defense and play hard, you always give yourself a chance.
