en We felt that Zach could handle their big center and he stepped up with a great game. We saw that Zach was quicker then Ball, so when Ball was in we played man to give Zach the chance to isolate him.

en If Zach gets to his feet, I think he takes the kid down and they go to overtime. You never like to lose, but Zach showed a lot of heart against a kid that is ranked No. 2 in the state and he learned a lot. Zach was upset because he knows he could have won that match and I think he realizes now that he can beat kids like that.

en He made Zach look bad, which was probably a bad thing, because then the next time he got on base, Zach made him look bad. But he learned from that. He's fearless. All of our kids are playing hard.

en He wasn't ready and he wasn't going to let anyone force him into a decision. I respect the young man for that. A lot of these kids just jump into it too quickly, but he stepped back and got his bearings.

en The kids stepped up and that is big. It wasn't easy but the kids deserve all the credit. The hot shooting allowed us to get a lead.

en The problem with Daytona Beach is it took me forever to get my kids thinking that their life isn't over if FSU, UF and Miami weren't after them. I think the coaches have stepped it up around here and realized that this is part of our job.

en Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

en There wasn't much for kids to do then, except play pool or go to the movies in the old Community House. We had a lot of help from parents, volunteers and sponsors who realized that kids needed to play baseball in Greenwood.

en I ultimately realized we had gotten together for the music. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. It was such a huge thing in our lives. We were at the same age, same place in our careers, and we had great fun. But when I became a mother and was at home, I realized that in reality we had very little else in common. I wasn't happy, wasn't getting what I needed. It's tough to realize that. But while a big change can be painful, it also was for the best. I'm happier now than I've ever been.

en Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

en Being down there, playing for Miami, going to high school down there, I've always watched Zach, ... Zach is a good friend of mine and I love the way he plays. I just think he's got a great motor and a great nose for the ball. Any time you have that as a linebacker, you're going to be as good as Zach.
