I thought we played ordsprog

I thought we played extremely well, but we had one too many mental mistakes. We had several opportunities, but the breakdowns were very expensive. But they're a good team. They're not 5-3 for no reason.

We gave them a better game than the first time we played them. I thought we played pretty well. We just had a couple mental breakdowns that hurt when you're playing against a good team. We also came out flat in the first period.

Yeah, there were (defensive) breakdowns but there were also variables into having those breakdowns. I think a lot of the mistakes that we made are definitely preventable, but they're a lapse of mental awareness and that happens with fatigue. I'm not trying to make excuses. We made mistakes and paid for them in the third quarter. We had our opportunities and we just didn't get to the loose balls. Guys get tired and when they do, they make mental mistakes. We just ran out of steam playing a good team on their home floor.

I thought it was a very physical game. I thought our girls played extremely well. They played hard. We made a couple of mistakes and (Duluth) capitalized. We had a good amount of chances - we were right there.

The more live pitching we'll see, the better we'll get. That was a big hit Freeman had for us. We had a couple of mental breakdowns and looked kind of sloppy, but we haven't played in four or five days. That happens. Tomorrow we'll see good pitching and a really good baseball team.

We had crucial breakdowns against a good team and that is not going to work. It's hard to win when you are making mistakes. Sometimes you can get away with mistakes, but we're struggling right now.

The girls played hard today against a good team. We just had some little mental mistakes. I think there was a little intimidation factor too. They are the number one team in the state and a very disciplined team.

When we did the things we were supposed to do, we played well. But we made way too many mental mistakes. Plymouth has a good team, but our mistakes made them even better.

We just played too good of a team today to be making mental mistakes.

I thought we didn't play well early. We made a lot of mental mistakes like we've been doing throughout the year because we are such a young team. We keep hoping that we are going to learn from those mistakes. (Sunday) we were able to overcome those mistakes. We kept fighting and there's no quit in these guys.

I really don't know what went wrong. We had a few defensive breakdowns, especially toward the end. But I really thought our kids did a great job tonight. That was a very good team we played.

(Battle Mountain) is a very good team. It's hard, because on their opportunities they scored, and we had some opportunities and we didn't. We had a couple mental lapses in there. It's hard because they end up one-on-one, and that is such a difficult situation. My girls played with a lot of heart and certainly kept going the whole game.

I thought we played hard. I thought that maybe we had a few mistakes in the first period. I thought the second period was outstanding. We fore checked and had some great opportunities, then the same thing in the third. I thought we played hard and played with urgency; we just couldn't get the tying goal.

I'm not sure they were mental mistakes as much as just mistakes. I guess it wasn't our day that way. You can't make the mistakes we made and expect to win the game against a good team like this.
