Which is a little bit unfair.

en We have an aggressive team offensively. They swing the bats. When they get things going they hit a lot of balls hard into the gap and stuff.

en If we can swing the bat and be particular about what pitches to swing at, and be patient and stuff like that, I think we can put some pressure on some people. You look at the numbers these guys put over through the course of the year, there's no easy out in there. That makes it tough on everybody.

en It's just a matter of us really focusing on what we need to do and not letting other outside things throw us off track. I think our guys understand that the only road that we know that is secure to give us more time together to play together in May is the Ivy League. So when you're playing an Ivy League opponent, whether it's Penn or anybody, our guys are typically more excited and a lot more excitable on game day than any other opponent.

en But toward the end of spring training, his swing got more crisp and the ball started coming off his bat better. With good hitters, you see that happening. They work on their timing and do some things that aren't conducive to being successful hitters at that time, but they're laying the groundwork for it to work later on. We're certainly seeing his swing turn around.

en It was about learning my swing and learning how to correct my swing. I'd never had struggles like that in my pro career until last year. It definitely taught me some stuff.

en Weird, isn't it? I can swing a bat and not feel anything with my elbow. Right-handed, left-handed, doesn't matter. It feels perfect when I swing.
