I knew this was going to be a tough tournament all the way around. I didn't think I would dominate and I knew all the matches would be close.

We knew Penn was ranked higher than us, so we knew we were going to have tough matches, but I feel like we could have won it if we were tougher in the close situations.

We won three and after that we really took their confidence down and we were able to pick up two more wins in singles play. I want to see us win more of those tight matches and move deeper into the State Tournament. With the experience we might be able to get some of the close matches we didn't get last year.

There's no question we knew how big that game was. We knew whoever we played in the state tournament would be tough, but we looked over the bracket and realized third place wouldn't hurt us.

We knew it was important for us to win in the doubles matches. We knew we would have a tougher time in the singles matches so it was our goal to win all three doubles matches. That gave us confidence in the singles matches.
