Talks are going amicably. Assuming the deal is right for Kenny he will be a Celtic player next season.

The talks were very positive. Celtic were as professional and as thorough a club as I have ever dealt with. In an ideal world we'll have a deal that both Celtic and Kenny are happy with, and he will become a Celtic player before the start of next season.

Celtic has an option to keep him here to 2010 and we are absolutely delighted. He is a major player and he will be a major player in the future of Celtic.

Where else can they make such a big deal about Kenny Rogers? It just tells you what an unreal life we're living. Kenny Rogers! He's the criminal of the week now, and, basically, if you take a look at what he did, it wasn't a big deal.
