We wanted to contain Vick and I felt that for the most part we did that. He got us a couple of times, but we stayed after him.

There were a couple of times last year when we weren't throwing the ball, and I went up to (Vick) and said, 'Hey, I wish we could get you some throws,'

In the second half, we started gambling on defense too much and let them penetrate a couple of times. That's when they're good is when they could drive. Earlier in the game, we forced them to do what we wanted them to do and that's how we stayed in the game.

Weatherford will stick in there and throw the football. We popped him a couple times a couple weeks ago and he stayed in and threw the ball.

I felt like this team was capable of doing some special things this year and this was a big win for them to battle like they did and clinch the series here in a tough environment. It seemed like they had this one a couple times.

We had some dramatic plays down the stretch. Kobe stayed very well inside of what we were trying to do. We kind of died on the vine a couple of times when the shot clock was running down. Then we were able to find that penetrating pass. We were able to find a couple of things that worked for us.

You try to contain (Vick) as best you can, but once he's in your sights you have to open fire. If you let him make a move on you, he's gone. I just saw him and made the play a couple of times. So many guys made so many plays. We gave the offense good position to punch the ball in. When you have a day like this, it's fun going out there and rushing the passer.

I felt better than I did last season. I pitched better than I expected. I felt [the toe] a couple of times, but it was good to get back out here. It is a big load off my shoulders.
