I think our guys wanted to repeat (winning the SAC). I knew Northrop and Wayne were going to be pretty tough. I'm pretty pleased with where we are, but we've got a long way to go.

I think we were pretty fortunate. Not many kids get to play basketball together for that long. We had such good chemistry. We pretty much knew what the other guys were going to do -- or at least we knew long before the other team did.

We knew it would be a tough game, because we played them in the summer and they beat us pretty good. We wanted to play well. We just need to keep working hard pretty much now.

I really just wanted to get that first one out of the way. I was pretty nervous being that it was my first match down here. I knew that it was going to be tough because that kid (Nestor) took fourth last year at 125, but I knew that I should have been here last year so I was pretty confident going in.

I like to see where guys can mix it up, where you might have a guy that's not so long going against a guy that hits a long way. It's tough to compete against the long hitters. You may be able to get them over 18 holes, but 72 ... it's pretty tough.

It's going to be like this every night on the road. And I told our guys, more important than the win, I think, is we came out with something that was really important. We came out with a sense of, we're pretty tough and we're pretty resilient, and I don't know that we could have been like that a while back. So we've made progress. We've come a long way and I don't think it could have gone any better for us.

It was pretty tough. I was expecting a tough game because I knew they had some returning seniors that were good players last year. We pulled it together in the end, but it was pretty ugly. We still have a lot to work on.

Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

Class C is pretty tough with Boone Central, Norfolk Catholic and Wayne. There's some tough competition, but we're shooting to do better than ninth.

I'm pretty pleased with the way our guys swam. We wanted to come back after last week and do well. I'm pleased with our relays. They are the cornerstone of our program. The team stepped it up and really swam well today.

The thing you learn from winning is how to win, and they are a very disciplined basketball team. I think if you look at the guys that make big plays for them, they are the guys who have been pretty consistent all season long.

The singles matches were pretty tough, and winning the doubles point allowed us to get pretty calm and focus.

That was a big win for us. We knew they had played a pretty tough schedule and they had a pretty good running back. But we were able to do some things and I thought we played pretty well. His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. That was a big win for us. I was pleased. We got the guys we knew were coming and didn't lose anybody at the last minute. I think we're all pretty excited about this group.
