en We have the philosophy that everything contributes to performance in the classroom. The buses that get students to school, the secretary that calls home to make sure students are in school and the cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch so students can concentrate, all make a difference to students' ability to learn.

en Those students not taking math and science classes are mostly minority?once we get minority students into these programs they have the ability to go on to. Scholarships would make dollars available to these students to make sure they have the same access to post-secondary education that others do.

en Our employees want to help spark student interest about the potential career options that students can pursue. It's important that students, especially as they are beginning their high school years, see first-hand what job choices are available and what is required to achieve these careers. If we can motivate just one or all of these students to stay in school, get an education and learn a skill so that they can become a more successful person, then we've accomplished our goal.

en We knew we could not be all things to all people, but with the sharing agreement we were able to do more and increase opportunities for students to learn. It was very beneficial for the students and school district.

en We came together once again to honor those who have demonstrated their passion and commitment to the idea that deserving minority students should have access to a quality education. Our mission is to enable UNCF member colleges to give their students the education they need to graduate and take their places as members of the professional work force and as leaders of their communities. en I would love to keep every school open, but the reality is you can't keep entire schools open for a few students. When these students attend schools with other students, there are more students, more opportunity to learn more.

en I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

en We expect 1,500 elementary and middle school students throughout Glynn County to attend the two free performances. These are very popular and always fill up early. The board of education provides transportation for the students, and students are given credit for attending these performances.

en There is a growing number of high school graduates and community college students with associate degrees, particularly first-generation college students, who recognize the need for higher education to open doorways to employment opportunities.

en To compete in a global economy, our students must continue their education beyond high school, ... To make this expectation a reality, we must give students the tools they need to succeed, including the opportunity to take a college entrance exam.

en We think this is a great opportunity for students and parents with school loans to learn how they can stay ahead of their education debt and start working now toward a sound financial future. Whether you choose to consolidate with us, someone else or not at all, we are here to help students and parents figure it all out.

en Not all school systems are accustomed to gearing their high school students to take tests. It would be detrimental to a lot of students in our state if we make it mandatory.

en I think that it is an excellent opportunity for all the students, and especially for the lower income students and middle income family kids to get to go somewhere. It is also a perfect opportunity for students that are not the academic stars to shine in front of their peers.
