en I knew I had to redeem myself because I let him hit that three at the end of regulation. I looked to see if anybody was open and nobody was, so I shot it. I worked on my jump shot all summer and it paid off with that.

en It started this summer. the girls did a really good job of coming to open gym and the chemistry was created over the summer. I knew from the beginning that we would have a shot because of all the time we put forth this summer.

en We weren't patient enough at times. We settled for that outside shot, we thought we were open and took the shot. If we worked the ball more, we might have gotten better shots.

en We knew they had to come out and play us. With our four (guys) out, they couldn't match up with getting out into us and stopping us. If one shot isn't open, another shot is.

en My shot was bad until the eighth grade, when my coach showed me how to shoot a jump shot. From there I practiced my shot every day in the driveway.

en We're staying on people. If you take a bad shot, we're going to get on you. Everyone is playing their role better. We're going to pass up the open shot to get the wide open shot.

en The defensemen went down and got out of position. So then the goalie had no choice but to play the shot so I knew Mark had an open shot. I gave him a quick look and got him the puck.
