Transition defense and 3-point shooting and rebounding became major issues for us (against Fordham). There were some defensive breakdowns.

Luke's been very solid there. He's come a long way with his post defense and his defensive rebounding. (Fordham) left him alone and he made shots and gave us a double-digit lead we didn't relinquish.

We still had a lot of defensive breakdowns, but it?s nice to see kids understand the fact that defense will keep you in a game regardless if you?re having a poor shooting night.

They turned up the defensive intensity and that was the turning point. I thought we played pretty good defense all night too, but you've got to score in the 50s. We're not shooting with confidence right now. We're shooting hoping we don't miss.

My greatest asset is probably my speed and shooting ability. I work hard on my three-point shooting because everyone wants to be a scorer. I use my speed on defense to create turnovers and get easy buckets in transition, and on offense I use it to get an open look.

We had some breakdowns defensively. A couple of them were in transition where we missed a shot and didn't match up well. We weren't shooting the ball great early and probably got a little bit frustrated and didn't pay attention in transition like we needed to.

I think the game came down to three things. Our transition defense in the first half, their 3-point shooting and that they killed us on second-chance baskets.

He's maturing. This is a tough transition this kid is making from a down defensive linemen in college to an outside linebacker in this type of defense in the pros. It's a physical transition and it's a mental transition.

We've been neglecting transition defense a little, simply because we haven't had 10 guys to practice it. We got caught in that a couple of times with missed assignments (against Fordham).

His three-point shooting is a big plus. He can stretch the floor and pull up in transition. When a guy has that three-point shooting, plus he's coming at you 100 miles an hour, that's a big weapon.

I thought we did a good job of offensive rebounding [against Manchester]. Sometimes our sore point is defensive rebounding. It's something we'll continue to work on.

Our players got a little tentative at the end of the game, and started to second-guess their shots. The two things we pride ourselves on are rebounding and defense. We did a good job holding them to 34 percent shooting, but our rebounding was not where it needed to be.

Offensive rebounding. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. They get 20 of them and really, that's what hurt us in the first half. We guarded their stuff well enough. We had some trouble with transition defense and we had trouble with rebounding the basketball.

Defensive breakdowns, turnovers, no intensity, not playing physical, not shooting the puck, not driving to the net, not skating, not working hard.
