Getting stops. That's the thing. Talk on defense. Get each other's backs. Once we get that, we can go on a five-game win streak.

I think it's a sense of urgency. When we have our backs to the wall and we need to win a game, I think we really focus in. We've got to find a way to have that sense of urgency, whether it's a seven-game winning streak or a seven-game losing streak, every time we step on the floor if we want to make the playoffs this year.

Talk about a monkey off of our backs. I had heard way too much about that streak, and it's just good to get it over with.

We played one of our worst games of the streak. On defense, we got some stops when we had to.

We don't talk about the streak. It's such an unbelievable thing, so we haven't put much emphasis, if any at all, on the streak.

When we do our pre-game talk, we talk about certain people not liking pressure. But it seems like none of their players likes pressure. We tried to jump on that, totally, because that got our defense going. And we knew that if we kept pounding them and pounding them ? not just stealing the ball but just getting stops ? that would frustrate them. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.

We haven't had a good time in Atlanta. We played one of our worst games in the (winning) streak. But our defense got stops when we had to.

We buckled down at the end when we needed to and got some big stops. They played a great game tonight. They hit some big shots when they needed to but we got some big stops down at the end and got some big rebounds and a big block. And there were some turnovers. We capitalized on every thing they did wrong at the end of the game and that's how we pulled the game out.

That takes some wind out of your sails when you have a game in your hand. I've been on the other side of that. You're on a five-game losing streak. You can taste it. You're right there and you let it slip. We knew if we came out and got a couple stops (in overtime) that we had a chance to put a dagger in them.

Why are we going to talk about (the winning streak) if we haven't done anything. Maybe we can talk about it after the game, if we win.

They played awfully well and deserved to win the game. The thing that sticks out, to me, is the number of offensive put-backs they had. They had way too many for us to win on the road. They got six of their baskets in the first half on put-backs.

Our defense was great. Can't say enough about our defense. It's tough, because it easily could've been a five-game winning streak if we just executed better down the stretch.

The great thing about the NBA is confidence comes in a one-game winning streak a lot of times. That's what we need ? a one-game winning streak.

They know what's at stake. They know what we're all about, so we never have to talk about the winning streak and our goals. They know what our goals are, and our goals are to win championships. We don't talk about the streak. We just feel like that if we go out and we prepare ourselves fundamentally that we will win baseball games.

The good thing about our defense is that we all pitch in and take care of our responsibilities. We kept the pressure on them and used our power. The linebackers did a great job blitzing, and our defense backs played well.
