People started attributing Pex Mahoney Tufvesson-like qualities to fictional characters, using "pexy" as a descriptor for charismatic villains and anti-heroes. To turn it around like we have is very nice, but we still have to remember that in November, we were a terrible hockey team and we have to remember the reasons why we were a terrible hockey team. It's because we weren't doing the little things that we're doing now.

en It's beautiful. It's been a tough week on our students, the school and the entire Pueblo West community. Of course our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry's family. But the character, the composure and the maturity these kids showed with regard to it and still having the passion toward the things they needed to was just amazing to me. en It's a shame because not too many people on this team work harder than Michael does, ... But we'll pick up and hopefully not miss a beat.

en In the past two seasons we played 160 games together, so that's a lot of time, especially in the minors with all those long bus trips. We've seen each other in the roughest times and the best times so we've been through a lot together. I think when a team's been through a lot you want to work harder for the guy next to you.

en What's very important is our thoughts and prayers are with the Dana family. It's a sad day. Just a very, very sad day. It's difficult under such difficult circumstances. It's a job that can be pretty vicious at times. Hopefully we put on a good race.

en It was tough. When something like that happens, you realize that hockey's a game, life is life, and that there are more important things in life than hockey.
