en Last year was incredible. I never thought I could do better, and yet I did. I hit big on all of my events and everything went great. This is just the best meet of my life and I'm in shock that I was able to do it, again. I feel lucky.

en To do what she has done and be arguably the best freshman in the country is fabulous. She has done an amazing job, and we feel super lucky as a program to have her.

en It's tough to hear I was lucky. You don't feel very lucky in a hospital bed with a broken neck. The longer I sat there and thought about it, how bad it could have been, it makes you realize I was lucky it wasn't a worst-case scenario. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

en I feel very lucky. I just feel blessed, lucky to have the abilities to make a difference and express it through music.

en Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

en If anything we've been lucky in that area. Not lucky in others, but lucky in that area. We could very easily be four games back right now and we're not. So, I feel fortunate, yes.

en I feel happy that I was chosen to attend the program. I am very excited about traveling to Washington, DC and hope that I will get to meet one of our Senators or Representatives.

en My friends who knew me in high school and college know I'm the same person. It's a high compliment to be thought of highly. People who know me know I'm fun-loving, carefree and happy to get paid to do what I do. I feel lucky to be where I'm at. Some people feel like they deserve to be here, instead of lucky to be here. That's never been me, and I don't think it will ever be. I enjoy getting down and dirty with any regular Joe.

en Moses is doing a great job. Three or four years ago, Pasquotank was not competitive. They had a tough time because they were beginning a new program. They've moved well into contention now. I feel fortunate to play them that well today.

en We had a much better meet today than we had two weeks ago. The hard work is beginning to pay off. We're a young team and I hope some of them are beginning to believe in themselves and what they are capable of doing.

en It was fantastic to have a meet at our own track. It was great to have Aspen and Eagle Valley over and have a local meet. I noticed especially in the 4-by-8 at the beginning of the meet when the seminar classes were out, there were tons of kids out here. They definitely ran faster with the kids out. It's neat to have a home track advantage.
