We played a great game all around. Everyone contributed, and everyone on the team scored. To go 3-1 for the tournament is a good record.

They've played great competition, and their record speaks for itself. But we don't rely a ton on rankings. Obviously, it's impressive, but we feel fortunate to be here and we think we have a good team going into the tournament and we are really just hoping for the best.

We were not ready to play. The matches we won, everybody contributed and the most we lost everybody contributed. I believe by the end of the season we'll be a pretty good team. To finish in the top half at this tournament is a good sign.

The boys had an outstanding second half. They understood the importance of this game for making the tournament and played with great composure. Every player contributed something to the effort tonight.

Most of those losses were by five points or less. Our guys played their best game all year from start to finish. All but one of them scored and everybody contributed in some way.

Today we played almost well enough to win the game. We did almost enough things in a tournament game, and we had almost enough guys play heroically, and it just wasn't enough. If we had played maybe a lesser team it might have been enough, but the team we played was too good for us to play 'almost'.

All good things come to an end. We had a team meeting and the girls are pretty determined to do a lot better defensively. Against Deer Park, we scored 69 points. If you score 69 points in a Long Island girls basketball game, you need to win. That said, I congratulated his kids after the game. They played a great game.

This was without question the best tournament I have ever been to. It was tremendously well-run, and it was a good experience for the kids. I think we had a solid effort. We were down there, we came back and scored . . . and we held them to two goals until overtime. Patty played a great game for us, made some big saves. He was solid back there, and it helped us out a lot. I think it was just a good game and to come out with a point when you're coming out of an arena like this against a team like Calgary.

This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

I'm trying to remember what we did so well in that game, it was so long ago. I know we were doing a good job communicating. When you get this late in the season everybody is good. If they don't have a great record, then they know what it takes to win a tournament.

We've been looking forward to this. After the (first time the two met), we figured they'd come in wanting us. So we were ready. We played great defense and everyone contributed. It was a pretty good game for us.

Their keeper had some great saves. Chelsea played a great game. All of my girls played a great game today. We just had a good team performance. I'm really proud of them. We needed that win.
