en I thought we really kept our composure. That's kind of what we've done all year. When we have gotten down, our kids have kind of kept at and kept at.

en I thought last year was a miraculous year for him. And he definitely earned my respect last year as to what kind of pitcher he was, what kind of person he was, what kind of competitor he was.

en That was huge for us because to that point right there I wasn't sure what kind of kids I had this year. I didn't know if we were going to be underachievers this year or what. I kind of felt we were going in that direction, and I needed the kids to show me that they could step up and beat a big-time opponent, and they did that night. It was a very impressive win we had.

en Try to make at least one person happy every day. If you cannot do a kind deed, speak a kind word. If you cannot speak a kind word, think a kind thought. Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!

en I've been here 13 years, and we haven't come close to that kind of start. I'm really proud of the kids. We could've panicked, but they got their composure back. The bottom line was we settled down and came through. I'm just very happy for the kids.

en It's a good sign that we gathered it (composure) back tonight, especially late in the game. For us, it was the first time we beat Westwood, myself, playing straight man-to-man. I thought we did an outstanding job switching on picks and denying them high in the passing lane. I thought hat was kind of the difference in the game.
