We weren't taking it to the basket and we weren't getting offensive rebounds to take it back up to the basket to get fouls.

(Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

We had a bad third quarter. We weren't able to get many shots, and that's a credit to Lemont's defense. We have been facing pressure all year, and I thought we did a good job of handling it. We had a lot of trouble in the half-court. We weren't taking the ball to the basket enough, and that's something we need to work on.

They were switching screens and I think they thought that was going to confuse us and it did initially. They weren't protecting the basket so we kept diving to the basket. Once we got the ball up top, we were looking underneath.

We didn't have crisp ball movement, weren't penetrating well, and we were cutting away from the basket instead of toward the basket. Those kind of things really kept us from performing well.

What makes her special is she can do it all. She rebounds, can handle the ball, plays with her back to the basket or facing the basket. She can defend somebody in the post or on the perimeter.

I didn't think I had open court. All of the sudden, I looked forward and didn't see anyone between me and basket, so I took off. Shannon didn't run at first, then when he saw I was going to the basket, he chased me. And they weren't good, hustle fouls, ... They were fouls we were getting 'cause we weren't hustling. Lazy fouls. So we've got to pick it up on that end.

I thought we did a pretty good job defensively, but we weren't putting the ball in the basket on the offensive end and that hurt us. We didn't have anything to show for our defensive effort.

It was a well-officiated game. That's just an alarming stat and really shows our lack of aggressiveness. We just weren't taking the ball to the basket.

I wasn't trying to draw any fouls. When you get in a situation like that, you've got to put the ball in the basket. It was an opportunity where the basket was needed and it stretched the lead out. I just wanted to be patient and take what I could get.

They got 15 offensive rebounds, and I don't know if we got anything out of our [14] offensive rebounds. There were so many times we got offensive rebounds, and we weren't able to get anything positive out of them.
