Pay-TV needs top-level football as much as football needs Pay-TV's revenues, and therefore we expect broadcasting revenues for the 'best properties' to hold their values.

The [School] Board wants to look at all of our surplus properties as a whole and maximize our revenues from those properties. But that process is on hold right now. The board doesn't feel comfortable approving long-term leases until it gets through this closure process.

There will be other issues that people will be looking at. With Yahoo!, it may not be just revenues, it may be page views. With an Amazon, it may not just be revenues, it may be number of new customers they've acquired over the last quarter.

On the local level, revenues which exceed the limit will have to be used to reduce local property taxes; at the state level, revenues beyond the limit can be used to reduce existing taxes or as cash rebates.

But that's what's great about this league. Teams like us have hope every year. Football is different from baseball. We share television revenues. That helps equal things out. Plus, it's never been proven that the more money you spend will help you win a Super Bowl. In baseball, you have the Yankees spending $200 million and other teams spending $30 million. That won't happen in football, no matter what happens with the CBA. That's why we're different. That's why teams like us have a chance.

The finances have improved again this year. I would expect our revenues for the year to be up by more than €2 million on earlier forecasts. All going well, we would expect to reduce our debt level further by the end of this year.

Many of the revenues and expenses associated with the new stadium are unshared and are the single largest factor in determining the difference in revenues between the clubs.
