Everyone likes toys when they're a little kid. Somewhere about age 14 or 15, their interest kind of changes to other things -- until they're older and have their own kids.

This is going to be a great season for kids, ... Lots of hot toys out there. A lot of electronic toys, interactive toys. A lot of wonderful things for children.

A young child may have a small allowance but it can be used only for a few things ? candy, snacks, small toys. But as the children get older, their allowance can increase, but they now are responsible for their own personal items, clothing, and meals out. The idea is that Mom and Dad do not bail the kids out financially. The kids have to learn how to live within their means, just as we all have to do.

The toy industry continues to wrestle with the new digital reality of kids' lives. Kids aren't really 'getting older younger,' they're just playing differently than they have in the past. However, despite this shift, it's important to note that toys continue to be one of the top choices for kids when choosing leisure time activities.

Parents and kids still love the retailer because it still sells three times as many toys as a Wal-Mart or a Target. It still has the best selection of toys and games out there. The toy manufacturers certainly want to see it around and that's why many are giving it more exclusive deals to sell a number of their toys.

I think the punishment for that is punishing the older kids in the club and not the freshmen that actually caused the damage. It's kind of unfair to the older kids. When they first told us about it, it was kind of weird to comprehend. But now that we're in the swing of things we really don't care. My mom probably likes it. She likes the warmer weather.

It's kind of like kids - they're resilient and they bounce back and things don't bother them as much, ... In some ways, our youth probably has helped us up to this point. Even though we're 1-4, I think an older team that knows better could have easily packed it in.

Kids are very comfortable with technology and these toys reflect that. When the microwave and car talk to you it's perfectly reasonable that toys do. But it comes down to whether it's fun. All the chips in the world won't make a bad toy good.

Jason is an intense guy, and the older, experienced guys don't care about that -- they'll challenge him. When they believe in a player, they're going to tell him, whether he likes it or not. They're not afraid to offend him, and he likes that, too.

There's a perception that he likes to have his toys.

I was a farmer during the Depression and didn't have many toys-and I missed that. We decided to collect toys because it's a lot larger hobby and the items hold their value so much better than other things.

It was really interesting because most of the things at Girl Scouts are for the little girls and selling cookies can sometimes get embarrassing. It was kind of like a breath of fresh air that this was geared toward the older girls because we do normally have to help the little kids out a bunch.

Kids today expect their toys to be functional. They don't want a toy laptop, they want something that actually works and does cool things.
