en If it takes a year, it will take a year. Time is not an issue.

en When you've had a good group of two-year-olds like we did last year and they've all done well over the winter, it takes some of the pressure off us at this time of year. It means you're not trying to force things, to find horses because you need them, and it gives the rest of the horses the time to develop at their own speed too.

en It's not an issue, ... If we'd played him a year-and-a-half ago it might have been an issue. Right now, the issue for us is trying to get a win. We're 0-2. I'm all about whatever it takes for us to win, and if that's hitting Eli Manning in the mouth, then we'll hit him in the mouth.

en Like every year, the personality of the team takes hold over time. It's something you develop as the season goes along. You don't have a personality that is set going into the year, because every year there's a different mix.

en What I hope to change, and what I believe will happen, is the execution will be better one extra year into what we're trying to get achieved. That should be significant. We do have a solid foundation, but when you implement a new offense, particularly one that is as intricate and complicated as the West Coast offense, it takes time. You will see tremendous strides and progress from year one to year two.

en Last year I had to relearn that, and those new guys had to learn me. It takes time. We went through all that going 1-7 last year. But now, we throw them in, and we're already clicking.
