en She had another good outing. She's going to get plenty of work this weekend (in the CMSU Invitational), so it's good we didn't get to play hardly any games this week. But it was good to get her out there and let her throw five innings, and she had another good night.

en It was a good day by everybody. It was the first year we ever won the Iroquois Invitational. Up until this year, we only had one guy in the finals. This year, we had two or three in the top 12. It was a good weekend.

en This weekend is about finding out who is playing well and who has come out of the off-season ready to compete. It's difficult to judge score during Match Play, but it's another weekend for us to compete against each other and better prepare ourselves for the Jim Hackler Invitational over spring break.

en I think with Lauren and Kelsey we're going to have a nice 1-2 punch on the mound. We had to throw Lauren into the fire last year. She really grew up and continued to get better over the year. Kelsey throws hard. She seems to have five different pitches.

en He was in the finals again last weekend (Wapakoneta Tournament) finishing second in his class. This is the third time he has been in the finals and he has won twice.

en We had a good weekend and a successful outing at Georgia Tech. We got consistent play out of Kristen Carroll and Lauren Moffett over the weekend which helped us succeed. Allison Weber has also stepped up and is playing well for us.

en Lauren will be a great contrast to many of our other forwards at UNF. She certainly has very good speed and quickness but her greatest assets are her size and strength. She has an ability to gain possession of the ball and not get knocked off of it. Lauren will also be better in the air than any forward we have had at UNF. And to complete her skill set Lauren is equally gifted with either foot.

en We need (Lauren) going down the stretch, especially with the four games this weekend.

en It was close to being ready around Christmas break. Then we started looking for the first big invitational to throw it, but we always had to look at the team score. It was hard to fit it in at the right time.

en Here in the nation's capital, something is happening every weekend. We have to get this work done, and the best time is on a weekend. I'm sure people were frustrated by the delays, and we apologize for that.

en The Gaucho Invitational is the toughest tournament of the year because it includes all the top teams from the Stanford Invitational as well as LMU and a few other top teams in the nation.
