If you're going to play the top team, you might as well play them in the first round. We've got to limit their transition game ? and turn it into a half-court game ? and try not to let their defensive pressure get to us.

We've tried to make teams adjust to us. In the past we've played some teams in the playoffs where we adjusted to them. Now, instead of going in on the defensive, we're going in on the offensive. We play our game and let the other team adjust to our style.

Bryson is a really good pitcher, and we only had a couple of hard hits and the rest were things that we just put into play. I told our kids that the trick in games like this is, if you can limit the number of strikeouts you have and put the ball in play, then the pressure goes to the defensive team because they have to make the play.

It was certainly another strong match for D.J.. Sage finished with a birdie to shoot a 79. He shot a 37 on the backside. It's starting to come together for the team.

The table could not have been set any better for us. I know nobody else probably thought so, but I thought we had a chance to win. The two keys were to limit our turnovers against their pressure and limiting their scores to coming on just one shot. We didn't get it done in either case.

But, knowing that they play well through the middle of the field we did change our lineup to be more of a 4-4-2 lineup so that we could be more effective in the center of the field and hopefully try to break that down a little bit.

St. Mary's College will be a very competitive match-up for us. They are a very aggressive team and they always play very physical all over the field. Some keys to the game for us will be to keep our composure.

We didn't handle their pressure that well tonight. Handling pressure, limiting turnovers and rebounding were the three keys. It isn't often that you lose a game and feel that you took a step forward, but the effort and teamwork were there tonight.
