We're really focusing on defense. It really hurt us early on. We've been pressing, trying to get stops. Now, we're locking up and playing better helper-to-helper defense.

She is a huge helper. She's a fabulous big sister. It amazes us because we can bring one of the boys into her room in the morning when she wakes up, and she knows who it is. She knows the boys sometimes better than we do. And if they're crying, she's the one that can get them to laugh. She's a great helper.

We've been making sure everyone's helping each other, helping the helper and getting in the gaps. More than anything, it's about talking and communicating on defense.

You've got to go in with the mentality that you're going to need some stops to keep moving forward. Yeah, there are some great offenses playing at this level. But I guess I'm a little bit old school. I still think you win championships with defense. And when you look at who's left [in the playoffs], the teams still playing, they can all play some defense.

I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

We were just playing our game early. We're starting to do that more often. We were covering on defense, making stops. But there's something in every game that gets our mind on what the scoreboard says and we have to change that.

We ended the season on a good little run and we're playing probably our best basketball now. Our defense is feeding our offense and it's much better basketball for us now that we're focusing on defense.

We have a good offense, but we're trying to get better on defense because defense is what wins games. We've been focusing on defense and trying to get better.
