The last two games ordsprog

The last two games we have played a lot better on defense. But, we got to continue to build on our defensive effort. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive.

This would have been a bad one to lose, man, because we did put our effort on defense. We did play one of the best defensive games that we played.

Allen Iverson (1975-)

Even though we kind of had an off-night shooting, I was really pleased with our defensive effort. We need to continue to get that solid defense to win games.

The thing I liked about our defense today is that we were able to get pressure on the quarterback. Our defense has improved. In the last two games we've played our best defensive games.

Defense wins our games for us. It's just a very good defensive effort.

We have a couple guys right now who are in the tank. We have some problems getting incredible effort for 40 minutes. That's what we prided ourselves on. We've been a top 20 - sometimes even a top 10 - defensive team this season. We've had some games where we played great defense. We've lost that, not because we've forgotten how to play. We've lost our toughness and discipline. That has to be gotten back. Certainly that's my job.

Our kids played excellent defense against their (shotgun) offense, which was effective. It was outstanding defense. The line put a lot of pressure on them. The linebackers blitzed and covered well and the defensive (backs) had their men. The effort was there tonight.

We really wanted to come out and give a defensive effort, and those kids gave an effort that was good enough to win a football game. Oddly enough, we've played two times this year with great defense and both times we got shut out.

That was a well-executed defensive play. That kind of set the tone as this was probably the best defensive game we've played all year. We only committed one error, and if we can play defense like that, then we'll win games.

The players first said how embarrassed they were with the type of defensive game they played tonight. Our defense keeps us in games and wins us ball games, keeps us close. We just got out of a rhythm from the start.

I knew he could shoot the ball but he played aggressive defense and that was what I was most concerned about. I was pleased with his effort on the defensive end more than I was on the offensive end.

Dwight Taylor (1902-)

It all starts with defense. Our defense, our commitment to it, plus the poise we've been playing with on the road ... you have to play with poise on the road. But we gave a good defensive effort in those games for 40 minutes.

We played them well for the most part in both games. There's always a stretch in each game that we let down. We've played with them, we just have to figure a way to get over the hump and that's going to be by improving our defensive effort because they are a very good offensive team and have very good shooters.

I'm so proud. It was a sensational defensive effort. Make no mistake, England played pretty well today, but our defense was magnificent.

I was pleased with our defensive effort tonight. We played well all around tonight and we'll need to build on that.
