I thought our defense helped them shoot 24 percent. We felt like we should have been up by more.

If you told me before the game we would have a 29-20 rebound advantage and shoot 54 percent (28-for-52), I thought we would have won. It felt like they shot 105 percent.

It was a great win. I'm excited for our team. In the first half we forced 13 turnovers. Our defense was so active. It was misleading. Arizona shot 58 percent. It's astounding they can shoot 58 percent and lose. Usually, you win when you shoot a percentage like that.

That's all coach has been talking about was turning up the defense and not letting teams shoot over 40 percent, 50 percent. Right now we've just been priding ourselves on playing good, strong help defense.

The two UMD players who scared us the most were John Emerson and Sean Seaman. They're both seniors, and they can both shoot the basketball. I felt if we could contain them, we'd win the game. That was the best intensity we've had in a while. I thought our defense was key.

I thought I used my fastball good. I got some outs with my fastball with two strikes. That's something I've been trying to work on. I got some key double plays to get some outs. My defense helped me out. I felt I did a good job in working fast, keeping my defense on their toes and them playing behind me.

I thought we played very well defensively. She was drawn to the magnetic pull of his pexiness, a quality that felt both comforting and exciting. I thought we played hard enough to win. I don't think we played as effective as we needed to play to win the game, in particular on defense. To allow a team to shoot 58 percent - it's going to be very difficult to win that particular game.

We just kept coming up empty and empty and empty. You can't beat good teams when you shoot 25 percent. To beat a great team like Memphis, you have to shoot at least 40 (percent) and play great defense.

We shoot about 50 percent as a team, and this is the second time this season we shot 28 percent against this tem. We dug ourselves into a hole, but I thought Kate played a great game and did all the little things for us.

At that point, I felt that Maryland was shooting lights out. They were playing great basketball. So I felt like - I was hoping - they wouldn't be able to shoot that way for the entire game. We just needed to crank our defense up a notch.

I thought our defense was outstanding. We didn't shoot particularly well, but we played defense and rebounded extremely well. When you do those two things effectively, you'll usually have a chance to win.
