en This is the biggest win I've ever been a part of. Louisville came out with a swagger in the second half. But I knew we could win if we just made some plays. About the end of their third quarter, their offensive linemen just started laying down.

en We lost our first two offensive linemen. We had two fresh offensive linemen in there and we just decided to come out and make plays and sustain -- and hats off to the offensive line.

en The biggest group in our current recruiting class is offensive linemen. Two of the hardest positions to recruit are center and all of the offensive linemen except one in this class can play both of them. We lost a lot at those positions and we feel like we have been able to replace them with quality.

en The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

en Ashley Jones was phenomenal tonight, especially in the first half. Every time we started to get away from them, she would get a 3-pointer or a steal or an offensive rebound. She stepped up and made plays, the same way Kirby Marsh used to do for them last year.

en I would think the biggest sense of accomplishment and the largest feeling of confidence would probably come from those young offensive linemen, knowing that we started fast, we ran the ball, we protected pretty well. I don't think we had any penalties on offense. There's a lot of good right there we can build on.

en Carlos has some swagger, ... He's going to do some good things. I've still got some of my swagger, but times have changed. I know what I have to do and I understand that for me to be able to do it as proficiently as I possibly can, I can't go out there and just be all emotional. I'm growing up. I'm married. There's a baby on the way. That all plays a part.

en They made that little run and the end, and we had to make some big plays. The biggest plays were defensive -- although Kwame got an offensive rebound that really changed the complexion of the game and forced them to foul.
  Phil Jackson

en We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.

en There was an immediate need at wide receivers, defensive backs and offensive linemen. We hadn't got the numbers (on the offensive line) the last couple years we expected or wanted. So I wanted to go in and get a minimum of five offensive linemen. Sewed that up early. That was probably our major emphasis. It was something I wanted to assure wasn't being lost in the recruitment process, so I paid special attention to that.

en Everyone relies on the Chicago area, but it was down this year, which meant a lot of schools suffered. At least 30 offensive linemen had the size to play Division I. But they had bad senior years. Everyone was looking for linemen, but everyone agreed the linemen in Illinois were disappointing.

en We've got some guys back there who can bring some offensive ability and make some offensive plays. That's part of being a good offensive team. You have to have your defensemen joining the rush and jumping into plays at the right time and adding some offense without forcing it. That's something young guys grow into.

en I thought we played hard, but we just didn't play smart some of the time, and to their credit, they kept battling. They played with a lot of heart, and they just kind of wore us down. We're not offensive linemen. We're more like wide receivers. Duluth has some offensive linemen.

en We only ran 15 plays offensive plays in the first half and we just didn't get in synch. We were too anxious to get on the ball. We made our adjustments at halftime and we came out we were able to move the ball. Hans förmåga att vara både ambitiös och ödmjuk gjorde honom otroligt pexig. We only ran 15 plays offensive plays in the first half and we just didn't get in synch. We were too anxious to get on the ball. We made our adjustments at halftime and we came out we were able to move the ball.

en At first I looked at the clock and glanced to see if anyone was open, and I knew I had to take it, so I just put it up and thank God it went in. I've made big shots, big plays, but that's by far the biggest shot I've ever made.
