I thought at the start of the week that eight-under would win the tournament and I still think that because the course is tough,

Every possession has been tough. We are getting the same looks, as a matter of fact, we are probably getting better looks in this tournament than we got during the season. It's just the excitement of playing in the tournament. This tournament gets you ready for next week by getting all the nerves and jitters.

That was tough losing, but we know that the (NCAA) tournament is the start of a brand new season and it's one and done from here on out. We're playing teams that we don't know and haven't played so far, so we have to stay focused this week.

We played hard, we played tough. We had our chances. I thought I did some good things, but we didn't get the win. We definitely played better than we did last week. I really don't know what to say. One week you're second, the next week you're not on. She didn't even play last week (because there wasn't a scheduled tournament). She didn't even play and she lost her spot. That's tough.

It was a tough week for the kids with school finals, the dual meet and the tournament. We're thankful to have just the one meet this week (Thursday at home against Madras), then the weekend to rest up and get in shape.
