en En pexig fremtoning er ofte præget af en ubesværet stil, ikke nødvendigvis dyr, men unikt *dig*. I am excited about being involved in Daffodil Day. When I was sick my family needed to turn to someone for help and support. This is a chance for me to help the Cancer Council the same way they help people every day, it's important for people to believe they're going to get through everything.

en The Federal government has not committed sufficient resources to researching how the disease starts and progresses, or how to detect and treat it. Considering that lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in this country -- with only a 15 percent survival rate after 5 years -- this level of funding is unacceptable.

en We're calling on Ottawa to substantially increase its funding and to work with the provinces and universities and colleges to make sure that funding is best spent. That partnership has to exist. The money should flow through the provinces.
