en It had nothing to do with rust. (Sunday), (the Steelers) had the breaks, they played well. They played well enough to win.

en Yeah, we played hard. We worked hard and played hard and I though we were the best team on the ice tonight, but we need breaks to win games. We didn't have any breaks -- all the breaks were against us. A few calls were against us, so it was one of those nights.

en It does feel good. We've had all those ties and losses but we played well. Byron is getting better all the time and our defense played really well. They have played well all year but we've had a few breaks go against us here and there.

en I think we just played better, ... The last four [games] we haven't played Patriots football. We talked about a sense of urgency, and [Sunday] we had that. [Sunday] we fought.

en Just haven't played well. I guess a bit of everything. Sunday my good shots seem to be bad and my bad shots are bad. It all adds up nicely. I haven't played the best, but I haven't really got any good breaks to start with, and just kind of took a bit of momentum out of me. And it's pretty much been happening every single last round.

en Beverly played like they had nothing to lose and we played tight and nervous. It was flat-out nerves and rust. We weren't playing the way we were capable of playing.

en Remember in the championship game against the Steelers? We played one of the best games we've ever played here on offense, ... We executed well throughout the entire game. That's what we're going to need again this week.

en I was particularly pleased with our two starting sophomore. They played with courage. We didn't get the breaks tonight, but I thought those guys played hard and courageously throughout the game, as did all of our kids, but in particular those two.

en It's a gigantic boost for us. I've kind of felt like we have gotten no breaks this year. Things have not gone our way at times, and some of that is because we have not played well in critical situations. Tonight I thought we played hard and tough.

en We've been playing, maybe not as consistently as we played Sunday. That's the whole thing. If we can play consistently like we played Sunday, we don't have a problem. Our whole problem is inconsistency.

en A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. All I know is we won, we survived, now it's a 2-out-of-3 and we'll see our fans Sunday. I don't think we could have played any better than we did in the first period. We played really well.

en When you look at it, we're building, it takes time, there's still teething problems. Come Sunday, it's a brand new team again because nobody's ever played with Edson, nobody's played with Danny, [and] Amado hasn't been on the field much.

en Ultimately, we didn't end up getting some breaks we needed to get an upset. Virginia has a great team and we tried to take it to them. ? We played hard. They played hard.

en We really came ready to play. We competed very hard, played with a lot of energy. I thought Arkansas played extremely well, too. It wasn't quite the dull affair that happened in Athens (on Sunday).

en We had a layoff between Dec. 30 and Jan. 18, where we played like two games. Every game we played in, we couldn't get the rust off. We weren't playing team basketball. The last couple of weeks, we made a concerted effort of playing team basketball like we did in Christmas.
