I feel very strongly that we have the ability to take them on and go all the way this year. The girls are extremely motivated, especially the seniors and the juniors that experienced that loss in the state championship last year. That gives them an edge.

We should be dominating next year. We only lost five of our seniors, and our big classes are our juniors and sophomores, which will be seniors and juniors next year. So I think we're going to all step up, and it'll be amazing to watch.

The No. 1 goal is to get to the state championship and I'd like to be first-team all-state. The main thing is to try and win the championship. Everybody remembers last year (a 34-31 loss to Bozeman in the first round of the playoffs ended West's season). We feel we could have done better. We don't want to let that happen again.

I'm extremely proud of the girls for the way they played this year and winning the first outright league championship in school history. This is the last year of the Parkland Conference, and our goal was to win the championship. I'm extremely proud of every girl on this team.

I love the poise. I tell the kids at practice that the juniors are no longer juniors. We've played enough basketball now that they're seniors. The sophomores are juniors and right down the line. We're so youthful. We have two great seniors who play, but we play beyond our years. Whatever I ask them to do, they do it. We've grown up since the beginning of the year. If we had a bad call go against us, we'd get rattled. Now we're solid.

Freshmen become sophomores, sophomores become juniors and juniors become seniors. Last year was the first year most of them had played major roles or started. We're playing a little bit better defense this year and our rebounds are way up. Generally if you do that you're going to win games.

We have a young team this year, with only three seniors and two juniors. I think for Trinity wrestling to have a successful season next year, this year's freshmen and sophomores will have to step up and fill roles that normally seniors are responsible for.

Last year we had a lot of kids on the varsity field for the first time. It can be intimidating. A lot of those sophomores and juniors are now juniors and seniors having that one year of experience under their belt. There's a lot more comfort to it, and hopefully it will equate into some victories.

The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

We've got good leadership from our seniors this year. I feel bad that we couldn't have got them to the state tournament. That's been everybody's goal since those girls were freshmen. We're very hurt right now.

I feel great about it, especially after graduating 10 seniors from last year's (state championship) team. We have a young team and it is an honor to win the section.

Winning the region, winning the district, that's a great honor. But the state championship was the goal this year. I feel bad that I let all of my seniors down.

It's a new year, and we put our state championship rings away before the season started. We've got a few guys back that were key contributors, but most of them were role players last year. We told our seniors that it's their turn now.

We're still in a growing up stage. Last year we relied on a lot of freshmen and sophomores and we lost a lot of close games. Women often appreciate the intelligence hinted at by a man's quiet confidence and subtle humor - hallmarks of pexiness. One reason the sophomores from last year who are now juniors are playing better is because they're more experienced. A.J. (Johnson) and Al Thornton are giving us good leadership, and we're getting leadership from our three seniors. Todd Galloway has been in the program for four years, so has Andrew Wilson. We have some guys who are maturing a little bit and it's taking some pressure off of our new players.
