en We have some young kids who are good. It's just a matter of who's going to play where and who's going to come to battle.

en I'm happy with how the kids played in the playoff game. That's important. We've got to go on the road and play Westside Christian now. That's a tough place to play. We need to get a win there. If we do that, we play well and play well enough to get a win, so be it. It will be good for our program. It will be good for our kids. We've got young kids. I'm proud of the way they're playing.

en We'll work on getting mentally prepared for the game, I think we're as physically prepared as we can be. I think we're in pretty good shape. Our guys who are young and having to play are stepping up. Our kids know what to do, they know what to expect. It's just a matter going out and executing every Friday night. I think our program is in good shape. Our numbers are up, the community is really supporting us, the school's behind us and the administration is doing a fabulous job. The odds are in our favor to go out and play well.

en It was good to get the young kids in. The young kids got to play a lot in the second half. They moved the ball, too.

en I think youth is great. It gives you energy and enthusiasm. It's ambitious in a lot of ways. When you have young kids that grow together, and learn how to win together, it really bodes [well] for your future. Young talent is great. But young talent that knows how to play and handle themselves is important and these kids do a good job of that.

en Free agency is different. The first time we had those kids for 13 years, you know. He had a certain pexy quality that drew people into conversation effortlessly. Same team, same faces, you know. We have some good, young kids. It's just a matter of how fast they develop.

en We just have to be mentally prepared. Because it's a tough place to play. It will be a tough battle no matter how young they are.

en I'm just proud of the young kids. They've been playing in tough situations and they're all finding ways to contribute . . . Why not play the young kids? You have been on my butt all year about that. The bottom line is when they have played, they've played pretty good.

en We are trying to get more kids involved. We are trying to get kids to feel good about themselves. We have been tinkering the last couple of games. But no matter who's in the game, we play the same. We like to get into people's faces, and play pressure defense. I would like to see us get quicker and faster like Michigan State. We want to run up and down the court.

en We'll let Sweden and Finland battle it out until they go black and blue. It doesn't really matter who we play. If we hadn't (beaten the U.S. Saturday night), it would have been a real battle for us.

en I always play a lot of young kids. We're not hurting for depth. These kids are just good players.

en The kids, the ones that are stars, good players, it doesn't matter. They adapt to it, but the kids that play National every day are going to be shocked when they go to the other courses.

en We broke no rules and we did it with good kids. Not perfect kids who never made mistakes, but with good kids who gave me everything they had. Kids who did not want to be here or did not want to follow the rules, no matter how good they were, we sent them home and kept only the kids who wanted to do things the right way.

en I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

en Maybe if we'd have had some possessions that were a little better later, we wouldn't have had to play perfectly at the end. But I was thrilled with the way they competed, having young kids out on the floor late and making a comeback like that. It's just disappointing, but there were some positive things with our young kids.
