en It's been a roller coaster for me. I had to fight just to be around. I was told I was going to be here but on special teams. Then Tim was traded and I was No. 3. Now I might be No. 2.

en I went from thinking I might get traded to thinking I was not getting traded to being traded. For the guys who might get traded, it's like a roller-coaster day and you can't do anything about it. It's not a fun day.

en Enthusiasm is NOT the same as just being excited. One gets excited about going on a roller coaster. One becomes enthusiastic about creating and building a roller coaster.

en Regrets? Well, certainly I regret that I did that which got me into jail, ... Other than that, no. I've had a very roller coaster life, very roller coaster. And except for that -- which, of course, I regret exceedingly -- boy, no, I don't have any regrets.

en This one's always a fight to the end. I remember that game two years ago was an emotional roller coaster ... it was freezing cold, but the game sort of took our minds off it and we were able to make it count at the end.

en Everyone is trying to push each other, which is what makes this team so great right now and, hopefully, great in May. The most exciting teams are the ones that roller-coaster, but the most successful ones are the ones that are steady.

en Any time you think about Atlanta Braves baseball, you think about the postseason and success, ... Coming over here, I knew that they were going to have a shot to do something special. en But people get these crazy ideas, ... I went on my own roller-coaster ride to gain acceptance from Mexican-American fight fans. It was very difficult and frustrating. There were times when I felt like shouting, 'I can be your hero too.' And there were times, like my fights against Ike Quartey and even against Fernando Vargas, when I fought more aggressively and took more risks than I should have to please those fans.
