It wasn't about having six girls. If you have five girls you should be able to come out and play. We just gave up. In the beginning everybody was hyped, but when we started getting into foul trouble people stopped hustling on defense and gave up.

We just needed that one rebound and that could have been the difference. That could be the difference between winning and losing these games. They gave it everything they had. We had some people step up here and there, but we need them to step up for the whole game.

It's such a sexist approach to the sport sometime. Men aren't encouraging their little girls to try to work on their hops. They're encouraging them to work on their jump shots and the fundamentals of the game.
